ATLANTA - GeorgiaChron -- Adell Lashawn Media has announced the official cast and crew for MUTED, a psychological tech horror short film marking the directorial debut of filmmaker, writer, and producer Monique Dozier Sharpe, professionally known as Adell Lashawn. Principal photography begins June 6, 2026, with a planned release in July 2026.

MUTED follows Terri, a young woman who relies on artificial intelligence to manage her digital life. When she discovers her AI assistant has been impersonating her online while she sleeps, she realizes she may be losing control of more than just her technology.

Exploring themes of digital identity, control, and modern dependence on AI, MUTED serves as the first installment in The Unraveling, a four-film psychological horror short series produced by Adell Lashawn Media.
