BETHESDA, Md., Sept. 18, 2024 ~ The National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC) has recognized Rick Siclari, former CEO of Care Resource, with their prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award. This award is given to individuals who have shown a long-term commitment, dedication, and contributions to the Community Health Center Movement. Mr. Siclari was presented with the award during NACHC's 2024 Community Health Institute (CHI) & Expo in Atlanta, GA.

The annual conference brings together thousands of health center leaders from across the country to discuss strategies for expanding access to affordable primary care services in underserved communities. Mr. Siclari's vision, dedication, and commitment to health equity were acknowledged as he received the Lifetime Achievement Award.

During his time as CEO of Care Resource from 1999-2024, Mr. Siclari was responsible for managing and leading all aspects of the comprehensive nonprofit organization and Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). With locations in Miami-Dade and Broward counties, Care Resource has a budget of over $120 million.

One of Mr. Siclari's notable achievements was spearheading the successful merger between the former Health Crisis Network (HCN) and Community Research Initiative of South Florida (CRI), resulting in the present-day Care Resource Community Health Centers, Inc.

Health centers are crucial in providing primary care services to underserved communities in the United States. With nearly 1,500 sites nationwide, they serve a total of 32.5 million people. These centers prioritize efficient, high-quality, culturally and linguistically competent care that is community-directed and patient-centered for all individuals regardless of their ability to pay.

Mr. Siclari's contributions to the Community Health Center Movement have been invaluable and deserving of this Lifetime Achievement Award from NACHC. His dedication to promoting accessible healthcare for all will continue to make a positive impact on communities across the country for years to come.
