ATLANTA - GeorgiaChron -- R&B Funk band, ConFunkShun, announces the Love's Train Reboarded Tour (tour does not include Silk Sonic) inspired after attending the electrifying Silk Sonic performance in Las Vegas and the private meet and greet between the Artists. "Silk Sonic's amazing show and the heartfelt conversation created a synergy that ConFunkShun wants to share with fans as we celebrate the 40^th anniversary of Love's Train," states ConFunkShun's founding member, Michael Cooper.

The appropriately named tour will kick off on Sunday, May 29, in Atlanta, GA, at the Mablehouse Amphitheater and continue throughout the summer. Currently, ConFunkShun has over 20 performances scheduled in cities across the country including, Columbus, OH, San Diego, Milwaukee, Louisville, Seattle, Portland, Las Vegas, Wichita, and many more.

The Silk Sonic remake of the classic love song, Love's Train, was a 1982 hit single for ConFunkShun propelling the To The Max album to gold status.
