~ Cox Automotive, a leading provider of automotive services and solutions, has announced an expanded leadership role for Ken Kraft, the company's Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. In addition to his current marketing responsibilities, Kraft will now also lead the company's sales organization.

Kraft joined Cox Automotive in 2021 and has since been a key player in developing effective marketing strategies and driving significant growth for the company. He has also been instrumental in simplifying the company's brand architecture and strengthening important customer relationships. With his people-first approach and deep understanding of the partnership between marketing and sales, Kraft has made a significant impact on Cox Automotive's success.

According to Cox Automotive President Steve Rowley, there is no one better suited for this new role than Ken Kraft. "Ken's laser focus on putting the customer first and his deep understanding of how marketing and sales can partner together to drive business success have been the hallmarks of his over 35-year career," said Rowley.

Kraft will continue to report to Rowley and remain a member of the executive leadership team. As he takes on this expanded role, he will work closely with Tim McKinley, the current chief sales officer who will be retiring at the end of the year. McKinley has had a distinguished 40-year career, including six years at Cox Communications and 11 years at Cox Automotive. He has been an integral part of Cox Automotive's executive leadership team for five years, contributing to record revenue growth during his time with the company.

Expressing his excitement about his new role, Kraft said, "I'm honored to lead such a talented and passionate group of team members and continue to build on a solid foundation." He believes that by aligning sales and marketing efforts more closely, they can better serve their customers, bring innovative solutions to market faster, and achieve unprecedented success for Cox Automotive.

Before joining Cox Automotive, Kraft led marketing and sales operations at Cox Business, the commercial services division of Cox Communications. He was responsible for building the marketing and sales operations team and positioning them as strategic business partners, which played a crucial role in Cox Business' explosive growth. Prior to that, Kraft had a successful career in telecommunications, leading marketing, communications, product, and sales teams at AT&T, BellSouth, and Sprint.

Apart from his professional achievements, Kraft is also passionate about giving back to the community and environmental stewardship. He currently serves on the board of the Chattahoochee Riverkeeper and has previously served on the boards of various organizations such as the Trust for Public Land, Woodruff Arts Center, Fernbank Museum, Adaptive Spirit, and the Sandy Springs Education Force.

Kraft holds a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of South Carolina and is also a member of the Dean's Leadership Council for the College of Information and Communications. With his extensive experience and leadership skills, Kraft is well-equipped to take on this expanded role at Cox Automotive and continue driving success for the company.
