ATLANTA - GeorgiaChron -- COLLEGE PARK, Ga -— Gateway Center Arena intends to make its powerful presence known in College Park. The multi-purpose arena is a hub for many major events and engages with the community through entertainment, politics, religion, culture, and education.
The venue is currently the home of the College Park Skyhawks of the NBA G League and the Atlanta Dream of the Women's National Basketball Association. As South Metro Atlanta's leading sports and entertainment venue, the arena is 100,000 square feet and seats 5,000 people. Being located adjacent to the Georgia International Convention Center and the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, the arena is easily accessible no matter the event. The Gateway Center Arena is also top-ranked out of 28 other arenas in the NBA in terms of operations and security.
Since its first public event in 2019, Gateway Center's mission has always been to provide the community of College Park with its first-class facilities and maximize economic impact and facility revenues. The facility understands that entertainment can often be the heart and soul of a city, allowing people to come together and enjoy a common interest while collectively boosting the city's spirit.

Owned and operated by the Atlanta Hawks and Grammy-Award-winning recording artist Tauheed "2 Chainz" Epps, the College Park Skyhawks will host games at the Gateway Center Arena. The Atlanta Dream also hosts games at the arena, drawing in loyal fans, representing Atlanta, and empowering women both on and off the court. While the arena's focus has primarily been sports-based, the facility has plenty of plans to host concerts and other events to expand the venue's reach to more patrons.
