ATLANTA ~ In a move that will bring new jobs and investment to the state, Governor Brian P. Kemp announced today that Authority Brands, a well-known portfolio of home-service brands, will be establishing its new headquarters in Cobb County. The Franchisee Success Center is expected to create 390 new jobs and invest $13 million over the next several years.
Governor Kemp expressed his pride in the company's decision to relocate to Georgia, stating that the state's pro-business approach and strong workforce make it an ideal location for companies to succeed. He also noted that Authority Brands joins a growing list of companies choosing Georgia as their base for starting and growing their businesses.
Authority Brands is a leading franchisor in the home services industry, with 15 brands operating in over 2,700 territories and served by more than 1,000 franchise owners. Their portfolio includes essential residential services such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, pool maintenance, house cleaning, lawn care, pest control, in-home caregivers, and junk removal. The company has received recognition from various industry rankings such as Entrepreneur's Franchise 500 and Franchise Business Review's Top Franchises awards.
