Atlanta, GA ~ In a recent announcement, Governor Brian P. Kemp revealed that First Quality Baby Products, LLC will be investing $418 million to expand its operations in Macon-Bibb County. This expansion is expected to create 600 new jobs in the area.

Governor Kemp expressed his gratitude towards First Quality for choosing to expand in Georgia and emphasized the importance of strengthening long-term partnerships with businesses in the state. He also highlighted the fact that over 70% of last year's economic development projects were expansions of existing businesses, and this trend is expected to continue thanks to companies like First Quality.

First Quality Baby Products, LLC and its affiliates are known for manufacturing a wide range of products such as baby diapers, training pants, adult incontinence products, feminine hygiene products, wipes, paper towels, and bath tissue. They also provide packaging services for healthcare, retail, and commercial channels.

The company's president of Absorbent Hygiene Division, Allen Bodford, expressed his excitement about the expansion taking place in Macon. He stated that this decision is a testament to First Quality's innovative products and commitment to the baby diaper market. Bodford also thanked Governor Kemp, the Georgia Department of Economic Development (GDEcD), and the Macon-Bibb County Industrial Authority for their support. The expanded facilities will be located at 2108 Avondale Mill Road next to their current location in Macon. The company will be hiring for various positions including executive, administrative, supervisory, and production roles.
