ATLANTA ~ In a recent announcement, Governor Brian P. Kemp revealed that TriNet, a leading provider of HR solutions for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), will be creating 750 new jobs at a new corporate center in Dunwoody over the next five years. This expansion represents an estimated $15.4 million investment in DeKalb County.

Governor Kemp, known for his commitment to making Georgia the top state for business, expressed his excitement about TriNet's decision to establish a presence in the metro Atlanta area. He believes that this move will not only strengthen the local economy but also create meaningful job opportunities for the community.

TriNet's President and CEO, Mike Simonds, shared his enthusiasm for the company's expansion into metro Atlanta. He stated that they are looking forward to becoming a part of the vibrant and growing business community in the area. Simonds also mentioned their plans to partner with local universities and tap into the thriving small business ecosystem to expand their team and provide better services to their customers.

Catherine Wragg, TriNet's Chief People Officer, emphasized the importance of their employees and how this expansion will benefit them. The new 150,000-square-foot space will be located in Dunwoody and will immediately begin hiring for various roles such as technology, HR consulting, client management, and sales. TriNet plans to leverage its increased presence in Atlanta to grow its regional customer base in both Atlanta and Southeast regions.

Dunwoody Mayor Lynn Deutsch welcomed TriNet's decision to invest in their city, stating that it provides an ideal setting with access to a talented workforce and a vibrant mixed-use environment with top-tier restaurants, shops, and entertainment options.

DeKalb County CEO Lorraine Cochran-Johnson also expressed her excitement about TriNet's investment in the county, stating that it is a testament to the strength of their workforce and infrastructure. The Georgia Department of Economic Development's (GDEcD) Global Commerce team, along with other partners such as the City of Dunwoody, Decide DeKalb, Metro Atlanta Chamber, University System of Georgia, and Georgia Power, played a crucial role in bringing TriNet to Georgia. Assistant Director of Statewide Projects John Soper represented GDEcD on this project and expressed his confidence in Georgia as a hub for innovation and long-term success.

GDEcD Commissioner Pat Wilson congratulated Dunwoody and DeKalb County on this milestone and welcomed TriNet to Georgia. He believes that strong partnerships between industry, communities, and higher education are essential for economic growth.
