ATLANTA - GeorgiaChron -- Positive Athlete is proud to announce that it will host the 12th Annual Awards at the Georgia State Capitol on June 1, 2026. The prestigious event will be held alongside the support of Lieutenant Governor Burt Jones and will celebrate the state's most exemplary student-athletes while awarding more than $38,000 in scholarships to Georgia students.

The Award Ceremony will be hosted by Positive Athlete Founder/CEO Scott Pederson alongside Pro Football Hall of Famer and Georgia native Champ Bailey. The evening will culminate with the naming of the Positive Athletes of the Year for the State of Georgia, recognizing outstanding high school student-athletes who exemplify excellence in athletics, academics, and character both on and off the field and the inaugural Positivity Cup honoring the Athletic Department of the Year.
