DULUTH, Ga. - GeorgiaChron -- As a non-profit, Rainbow Village relies on the generosity of its donors. Less than 10% of its funding comes from local government resources. That means 90% is privately secured through grants and monetary contributions from individuals, churches, and corporations. To continue to pursue its mission of Bringing Help, Hope, Housing, and Healing to Families Experiencing Homelessness, Rainbow Village endeavors to build lasting relationships throughout Metro Atlanta. One of those relationships spans 12 years, as Subaru of Gwinnett has once again named Rainbow Village its Hometown Charity during its 2025 Share the Love® Event, which runs through January 2, 2026.
"Rainbow Village's mission to break the cycle of homelessness resonates deeply with our values, and we are honored to support their programs year-round," said Jennifer Kessler, General Manager of Subaru of Gwinnett. "Through Subaru's Share the Love® Event, our customers can elect to bless Rainbow Village with a portion of the proceeds from their purchase of a new car or maintenance of their existing vehicle. Our partnership extends beyond the dozen years they've been our Hometown Charity and beyond our Share the Love Event. Through Subaru Loves to Help, we provide essential resources, including brand-new coats, shoes, and socks for children, ensuring they are warm, confident, and cared for as they take steps toward stability. We also sponsor family-focused events on the Rainbow Village campus, such as the Summer Bash and Holiday Shoppe. We are dedicated to helping Rainbow Village continue to provide hope, housing, and holistic support for those who need it most. Together, we work toward a stronger, more compassionate community—one family at a time."

During the 2024 Share the Love® Event, Subaru of Gwinnett raised $51,475 to benefit Rainbow Village. This year, they're looking to surpass that number.
"We are beyond grateful for Jennifer and her team at Subaru of Gwinnett," said Melanie Conner, CEO of Rainbow Village. "Caring for the community is foundational to the culture there. I love how they engage meaningfully with the families we serve whenever they're on campus for an event. And they act as ambassadors for our organization each holiday season during the Share the Love Event, introducing car buyers and maintenance customers who've never heard of us before to Rainbow Village and our mission."
For new-car customers who select Rainbow Village to benefit during the Share the Love Event, Subaru of Gwinnett will donate $350. For customers who bring their vehicle to the Subaru of Gwinnett Service Department during the Share the Love Event, the dealer will donate $5. Subaru of Gwinnett is located at 2950 Satellite Blvd in Duluth. To schedule a service, view specials, value a trade, and more, visit www.subaruofgwinnett.com.
