Atlanta, GA ~ Atlanta, GA - In a recent announcement, Governor Brian P. Kemp and the Georgia Department of Economic Development (GDEcD) revealed that the state has been named the top spot in Site Selection's annual Prosperity Cup rankings for successful investment recruitment in 2023. This prestigious national award takes into account various factors such as the total values of new and expanded facilities, business-climate attractiveness, and workforce readiness.

Governor Kemp expressed his pride in Georgia's achievement, stating, "I always proudly tell companies across the country and the world how great Georgia is for operating and growing a business. According to Site Selection, Georgia secured the top ranking by attracting 318 new and expanded facilities in 2023.
