Our Mission
GROW Initiative GA, a registered nonprofit 501c3 organization, is dedicated to improving the lives of underserved, low-wealth, and marginalized individuals by promoting community engagement, equity, and access to essential resources in education, health and nutrition, and overall well-being. Our mission is rooted in the belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to lead a healthy, fulfilling life, regardless of their socio-economic status or background. We value inclusivity, cultural sensitivity, and collaboration, working tirelessly to foster a sense of belonging and empowerment within the communities we serve. Through innovative programs and strategic partnerships, we aim to create sustainable change and build stronger, more resilient communities.

Community Impact
Recognizing the need of our community, Grow Initiative GA has partnered with Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church to provide essential services to the community. GIGA has dedicated office space at the church's resource center, allowing for the community to receive much needed supports including access to resources, trainings, workshops and more. Together with Step Up Savannah, GIGA, and Our Lady of Lourdes aim to increase accessibility to a number of community development programs, including state benefit applications, SNAP education, and additional bilingual services. GIGA's reach expands outside the Greater Savannah Area in Chatham County and includes Effingham and Bulloch Counties.
