HOBOKEN, N.J., Feb. 4, 2025 ~ The Hain Celestial Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: HAIN) is making strides towards enhancing their customer service with the opening of a new distribution center in Savannah, Georgia this month. This marks the completion of a multi-year expansion project aimed at improving delivery speed, product availability, and transportation costs for their better-for-you brands.
The global health and wellness company has been working towards this goal by strategically expanding their network to better serve their customers. With the addition of the Savannah facility, Hain now has four regional distribution centers in the United States. This expansion has doubled their network capacity and is expected to reduce delivery route mileage by 66% annually.
According to Steve Golliher, Chief Supply Chain Officer at Hain Celestial, this new distribution center will allow them to respond more swiftly to market demands and deliver products more efficiently to their customers. He also anticipates significant benefits from this approach, including faster delivery times and increased efficiencies within their supply chain operations.

The completion of this project is expected to result in several positive outcomes for Hain Celestial. They anticipate being able to reach over 90% of their U.S. customers within 1-2 transit days, an increase of 15%. Additionally, there will be a reduction in delivery route mileage by approximately 66%, which equates to roughly 2.6 million miles annually. This will not only save on fuel costs but also reduce maintenance expenses.
Hain Celestial's distribution transformation began in spring 2023 with two facilities in Southern California and Central Pennsylvania. In December 2024, they expanded to a third facility in Chicago, Illinois. The addition of the Savannah facility allows for a more geographically-centered and flexible distribution network that can efficiently meet customer needs.
All four facilities are operated in partnership with a third-party logistics company, providing scalable space and throughput to meet varying customer demands. This strategic distribution transformation aligns with Hain's commitment to operational excellence and supports the Fuel and Build pillars of their Hain Reimagined business strategy.
In conclusion, the opening of the new distribution center in Savannah, Georgia marks a significant milestone for Hain Celestial in their efforts to enhance customer service and strengthen their supply chain. With a more efficient and flexible distribution network, they are well-positioned to meet the demands of their customers and continue to grow and innovate within their operations.
