ATLANTA, Feb. 6, 2024 ~ Honeywell, a leading technology company, has recently announced its partnership with the Atlanta Hawks and State Farm Arena as their Official Sustainable Building Technology Partner. This multi-year deal will see Honeywell implementing advanced technology upgrades to the arena's building operations systems in order to reduce energy consumption and emissions while also improving visibility and control of the indoor environment.

Adam Joiner, Vice President of Global Sales for Honeywell's Building Automation segment, expressed his excitement about this collaboration, stating that they are honored to have been chosen by the Atlanta Hawks and State Farm Arena to prioritize efficient, healthy, and sustainable building operations. He believes that their teamwork will bring about powerful change for the local community.

One of the key upgrades that Honeywell will be implementing is a new building management system equipped with their Honeywell Forge software solutions. This software utilizes machine learning to monitor energy usage and automatically adjust the HVAC system for more efficient operation. It will also help advance sustainability efforts and regulate indoor air quality, ultimately improving both playing conditions on the court and the overall fan experience. This partnership further aligns with Honeywell's focus on automation and energy transition.
