ATLANTA - GeorgiaChron -- The Cobb County Chamber of Commerce has appointed Sheree Knowles to its esteemed Board of Directors. In addition to this prestigious role, Knowles has been named the Chair of the Chamber's HR Roundtable, where she will play a pivotal role in shaping discussions and initiatives that impact the human resources community.

With nearly three decades of experience in talent management, culture, and leadership development, Knowles brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to these roles. She is the CEO of two successful, woman and minority-owned human capital management firms—Human Capital Consulting Consortium (H3C), an 8(a) and WOSB-certified firm, and HR Knowledge Source (HRKS). Under her visionary leadership, HRKS has been recognized among the Top 25 Small Businesses of the Year for three consecutive years and was named the 2022 Minority-Owned Business of the Year in Cobb County, GA.

As a member of the Cobb County Chamber's Board of Directors, Knowles will help advance the Chamber's mission to foster a vibrant and thriving economy. Board members are expected to engage in standing committees and special task forces and participate in key Chamber programs.

In her role as HR Roundtable Chair, Knowles, along with a committee of dedicated HR leaders, will lead efforts to provide valuable discussions, resources, and networking opportunities for HR professionals. Some of her key responsibilities will include:

• Leading and moderating HR Roundtable meetings to ensure meaningful discussions and engagement.
• Developing discussion topics, securing guest speakers, and addressing relevant HR trends.
• Aligning the program with the Chamber's broader workforce and business initiatives.
• Promoting HR Roundtable participation and growing the network of HR professionals.

Knowles is widely respected as a dynamic keynote speaker, instructor, and facilitator. She has been a featured speaker and keynote for DisruptHR, SHRM-Atlanta, the Project Management Institute, the State of Georgia HR, and more. In addition to her executive leadership, she is a graduate of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses (GS10KSB)  and Leadership Cobb programs, and serves as a certified Emotional Intelligence Coach, Master Facilitator, and certified Project Manager, overseeing large-scale HR initiatives for her clients. Her leadership within the Chamber will further strengthen its initiatives, providing valuable insights and fostering a stronger, more connected business community in Cobb County.
