ATLANTA - GeorgiaChron -- HR Knowledge Source (HRKS) Founder and CEO, Sheree Knowles, has been selected for the Cobb County Chamber of Commerce's premier leadership development program, Leadership Cobb. Knowles is one of fifty individuals from the Cobb County area who were selected to participate in the 2023 class.
Knowles has been an active member of the Cobb Chamber CEO Roundtable for over five years and a featured presenter for the Cobb Executive Women Luncheon. "It is an honor to be selected to this year's class and follow in the steps of the distinguished Leadership Cobb Alumni who continue to lead by example. I look forward to joining my 2023 esteemed classmates on our journey together to make a difference in Cobb County," states Sheree Knowles.
This year's class theme, "Together We Can," will emphasize the importance of community and remind the class that with every program day, together, anything is possible. This year's class will be led by Co-Chairs Holly Quinlan, Cobb Travel & Tourism, and Sam Olens, Dentons, and Vice Co-Chairs, Betsy Madrerohon, Capital City Bank, and Brian Marcos, City of Smyrna Fire Department.
Founded in 1983, Leadership Cobb brings together diverse business and community leaders for a 10-month journey that enhances personal and professional growth through awareness of current issues, community resources, and the social, political, and economic needs of the community. The program accomplishes this through leadership training, teambuilding, and educational experiences highlighting the community's greatest success stories and most significant ongoing challenges.
