Being an Amazon partner for years and watching their forward-thinking approach allowed me to see what right looks like," Mr. Collier explained.
ATLANTA - GeorgiaChron -- Mr. Milton Collier, U.S. military veteran, six-time published author, and one of Amazon's first-ever branded Delivery Service Partners (DSPs), once again, Mr. Collier is making history – this time through his employment and training company, Freight Broker 911, by offering and creating a one-of-a-kind, real freight brokering training program for FREE.
It's Nothing Like Good History
In 2018, Mr. Collier was selected from millions of applicants worldwide as one of Amazon's first 20 branded Delivery Service Partners – a historic milestone that placed him at the forefront of a groundbreaking shift in last-mile logistics and serving on the first ever DSP Community Advisory Group.
"Being an Amazon partner for years and watching their forward-thinking approach allowed me to see what right looks like," Mr. Collier explained. "Amazon removes barriers. They make things accessible. They invest in people. I took that same spirit and built Freight Broker 911 so that anyone – regardless of background or bank account – can get real, field-tested training in freight brokering without paying a dime."

Creating Another Path: Employment and Training
Mr. Collier's relationship with Amazon has done more than build a successful delivery operation – it has opened an entirely new path in logistics: Employment and Training.
Through his work, Mr. Collier is creating career opportunities for hundreds of logistics operations professionals – with a particular commitment to hiring U.S. military veterans.
Beyond employment, he has built training pipelines that prepare everyday Americans for careers in freight brokering, last-mile delivery, and logistics leadership.
"Amazon gave me a seat at the table," Mr. Milton Collier said. "I used that seat to build a chair for someone else. Logistics isn't just trucks and packages – it's people. My mission is to put people to work and train them to win in this industry for the long haul."
The free training program covers everything from obtaining a freight broker license and meeting FMCSA requirements to finding shippers, building carrier relationships, negotiating loads, and running a profitable brokering operation. It is not theory – it is drawn from decades of Mr. Collier's hands-on experience in the freight industry and informed by the operational excellence he witnessed firsthand as an Amazon partner.

"Most broker courses cost thousands of dollars and still don't teach you how to actually broker freight," Mr. Collier said. "Freight Broker 911 is different. We give you the real playbook, the real tools, and the real mentorship – free. Because when you remove the financial barrier, talent rises. That's what Amazon taught me, and that's what Freight Broker 911 is built on."

Not Surprised, Just Prepared
As Amazon Logistics expands its freight, middle-mile, and supply chain footprint, Mr. Collier sees the next chapter clearly. His books – including The New World of Freight Brokering: The Right Career and Journey to Becoming an Amazon Delivery Partner – have anticipated this shift for over a decade.
