ATLANTA - GeorgiaChron -- National Vitiligo Bond Inc., Foundation, also known as Vitiligo Bond, is proud to announce its annual upcoming Vitiligo Awareness 5K Fun Walk/Run, taking place at Grover White Park in Atlanta, Georgia. The event brings together families, students, advocates, and community leaders in a shared mission to raise awareness, promote inclusion, and support individuals living with vitiligo.
The 5K event is designed to celebrate resilience and visibility while funding educational programs, youth empowerment initiatives, and community outreach led by Vitiligo Bond.
Participants will enjoy a community-focused race experience that includes wellness activities, music, vendor participation, and recognition for winners across multiple categories. First-place winners ages 17 and above in each category will receive a $500 valued award Google career certificate from Vitiligo Bond.
"This event is more than a run, it's a movement to elevate awareness and empower individuals living with vitiligo to be seen, heard, and celebrated," said representatives of Vitiligo Bond. "We are building a platform where advocacy meets action, especially for young people impacted by visible differences."

In addition to race participation, community members are invited to support the cause through donations.
