ATLANTA - GeorgiaChron -- In celebration of Black Music Month, the National Collegiate Entertainers Group (NCEG) is proud to introduce our groundbreaking vision for a new pathway into the music industry. We are officially launching our campaign, "MOGULS," aimed at establishing an "NCAA for the Music Industry."
"MOGULS" is a college student-led fundraising initiative designed to restore support for K-12 music, technology, and arts programs. Our mission is to reinstate national funding for these critical programs by creating a commercially viable incentive for companies to invest in the professional development of music entrepreneurs.
Founded in 2016 by college students in metro Atlanta, NCEG is a nonprofit organization that hosts panels, concerts, and competitions. Our vision is to empower the next generation of music industry leaders through education and real-world experience.
Throughout this campaign, college students will perform in various locations around the city, raising awareness and collecting donations for this cause. Proceeds from our concerts, tours, and college music competitions will contribute to funding a national scholarship program for high school seniors.
