STOCKBRIDGE, Ga. - GeorgiaChron -- Peachtree Immediate Care, Georgia's most comprehensive urgent care network and the exclusive urgent care partner of the Emory Healthcare Network, has opened its newest location in Stockbridge, Georgia. The Stockbridge location is the third Peachtree Immediate Care urgent care center in Henry County, with other urgent care facilities in McDonough and Locust Grove. Peachtree Immediate Care operates more than 70 locations in Georgia. The partnership with the Emory Healthcare Network includes over 50 Peachtree Immediate Care locations in the Metro Atlanta area.

Peachtree Immediate Care - Stockbridge, located at 1680 Hudson Bridge Road near the intersection of Willis Drive and next to Smalls Sliders, began treating patients on Thursday, March 6, 2025. The nearly 4,000-square-foot standalone facility features nine exam rooms, an X-ray room, and a laboratory. The center is temporarily open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and closed on Saturday and Sunday. Effective April 28, Peachtree Immediate Care – Stockbridge will be open daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., including weekends.

At every Peachtree Immediate Care urgent care center, patients can receive treatment for non-life-threatening injuries and illnesses, immunizations, physical examinations, X-rays, diagnostic testing, employer and occupational health services, and limited primary care.

Patients may book an appointment online up to 24 hours in advance, check the current wait time, and reserve their spot line online for the Stockbridge location at www.peachtreemed.com/location/stockbridge/. Walk-in patients are always welcome without an appointment at every location. As a convenience, telehealth appointments are available for qualifying illnesses and may be appropriate as a follow-up visit for select diagnoses.

Peachtree Immediate Care locations also provide on-site medication dispensing for select medicines, including Tamiflu®, which will quickly address the needs of individuals diagnosed with the flu. On-site medication dispensing allows patients to receive prescriptions promptly and conveniently at an affordable cost without an additional trip to a third-party pharmacy. Most on-site medications are only $10.

Peachtree Immediate Care accepts over 40 insurance plans and offers transparent self-pay pricing.

All Peachtree Immediate Care clinics employ a staff of medical providers such as board-certified physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and highly trained clinical and support staff such as medical assistants and emergency medical technicians.
