ATLANTA, Jan. 2, 2025 ~ Veritiv Operating Company, a leading distributor of specialty packaging, has announced the appointment of two new members to its board of directors. Rajeev Bhalla and Suzan Morno-Wade will bring their expertise and experience to the company's board, with Mr. Bhalla serving as the chair of the Audit Committee and Ms. Morno-Wade as the chair of the Compensation and Leadership Development Committee.
According to Sal Abbate, Chief Executive Officer and member of the Board of Directors for Veritiv, both Mr. Bhalla and Ms. Morno-Wade will be valuable assets in overseeing the company's strategy and operations. "Mr. Bhalla brings significant financial acumen from his experience in both public and private companies," said Abbate. "And Ms. Morno-Wade brings extensive knowledge in human capital management, talent development, culture, and executive compensation from her time at various public companies."
Mr. Bhalla currently serves as an operating partner for private equity firms where he provides strategic and financial advisory services. He previously held the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at CIRCOR International, Inc., a global manufacturer of flow and motion control products. During his tenure, he oversaw several divestitures and acquisitions, including a major deal that doubled the size of the company. With a background in aerospace and defense companies such as Pratt & Whitney, Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, and Lockheed Martin Corporation, Mr. Bhalla also serves on the boards of directors for Woodward Inc., SRC Inc., and Hypertherm Inc.

Ms. Morno-Wade brings over 30 years of experience in human resources to her role on Veritiv's board. She most recently served as Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at Xerox Corporation where she led all aspects of HR operations including payroll, security operations, employee communications, and philanthropy efforts. Prior to that, she held various HR and finance positions at companies such as Hess Corporation, Quantum Corporation, Mitsubishi Electric, VLSI, NEC, and General Electric. Currently, she also serves as the Compensation Committee Chair for Latham Group Inc.
John Stegeman, Chairman of the Board for Veritiv and Operating Advisor for Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, expressed his confidence in the new additions to the board. "Mr. Bhalla and Ms. Morno-Wade are trusted leaders with significant experience in their respective fields," said Stegeman.
