Saving Smiles is Excited to Celebrate their Approval for Tax-Exempt Status
ATLANTA - GeorgiaChron -- Saving Smiles, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving oral health outcomes for children of underserved communities, is pleased to announce that it has officially been granted tax-exempt status under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. This designation is a significant milestone for Saving Smiles, enabling the organization to expand its reach and impact by allowing donors to make tax-deductible contributions.
Saving Smiles was founded in 2023 with the mission to ensure that every child, regardless of their socio-economic background, has the opportunity to reach their full potential and is freed from the burden caused by poor oral health. Since its inception, the organization has provided educational workshops and community outreach services to children and communities across the region.
"We are thrilled to have the opportunity to better serve communities in need," said Joni Cruz-Amolsch, Executive Director of Saving Smiles. "With this designation, we can expand our programs, reach more children, and ultimately make a greater impact on oral health outcomes for generations to come."

The approval of tax-exempt status provides several key advantages to Saving Smiles, including:
Eligibility for Public and Private Grants: The organization can apply for funding opportunities that are only available to tax-exempt entities.
