One of the key advantages of using Veeam with Storj is the elimination of downtime. With instant recovery from anywhere in the world and protection from cyber threats and unplanned outages, organizations can ensure continuous access to their data. Additionally, Storj's decentralized architecture provides outstanding durability by encrypting every file and distributing it across tens of thousands of storage nodes. This eliminates the need for multi-region replication and reduces costs for risk mitigation.

Veeam Backup & Replication™ is included as part of Veeam Data Platform, a comprehensive solution that provides data security, recovery, and freedom. This single platform allows for secure backup and instant recovery from cyber threats while also helping organizations meet regulatory compliance goals. It also offers the flexibility to back up and use data from anywhere without being locked into a specific platform or cloud.

Josh Herr, Director of IT at Geiger Ready Mix, shared his experience with using Veeam and Storj. He stated that they were already using Veeam for backups but needed to scale-up their storage options. After evaluating different options, they chose Storj cloud object storage with TrueNAS and Veeam to protect their data from ransomware and other vulnerabilities. Herr initially considered using an AWS S3 bucket and Glacier but found that Storj was much easier and cost-efficient. He also mentioned that the integration was seamless, providing them with total peace of mind and a robust solution for their data storage needs.
