ATLANTA - GeorgiaChron -- Renaissance man Vince Ashton has had a successful quarter one filled with back to back sports, music, and stadium events. Vince, who is a well-known global entertainer, singer, and baking expert has participated in events from being named resident National Anthem singer for the Skyhawks to his television premiere on the Travel channel.
Georgia-based Ashton made his debut appearance as a professional dessert connoisseur on Food Network Canada's Great Chocolate Showdown where he competed for the title of 'Great Chocolate Showdown Champion'. While he left the show before the finale, Vince had this to say about his time on the show:
"This opportunity has been such a game-changing, character-building, challenging, and fun experience."
Heading into a strong 2nd quarter, 2022 has given the entertainer several new opportunities as he was also named the resident anthem singer for the NBA G-League team, The College Park SkyHawks and the official host for the city of College Park's 2022 event calendar. Most recently, Vince was brought back to host the resurrection of Atlanta's Ultimate (High-School) Band Clash after its 2-year hiatus.
