ALPHARETTA, Ga. ~ Surcheros Fresh Mex is investing in experienced talent as the premium Fresh Mex brand continues to grow. Founder and CEO Luke Christian is leading the charge for aggressive expansion, developing a franchising program and entering new markets throughout the Southeast.

The Surcheros leadership team includes Jake Philpotts as Vice President of Business Development & Franchise Relations, Jami Horowitz as Vice President of Marketing, Brendan Wiederhold as Vice President of Operations & Construction, Jamie Hurley as Vice President of Finance, and Ellen Rockwell as Vice President of People & Development. Bryan Williams serves as Vice President of Shared Services & Technology.

Philpotts joined Surcheros in 2019 and was promoted to his current role by October 2020. He has over a decade of experience with brands such as Chick-Fil-A and Aldi. Horowitz has over 15 years in restaurants and retail, joining Surcheros in April 2023 to reposition the brand. Wiederhold has 15 years of experience and joined Surcheros in 2021 to optimize performance, talent, and accountability for success. Hurley has 25 years industry experience with 12 years at Inspire Brands while Rockwell brings 20 years restaurant industry experience to her role leading holistic talent efforts including human resources, total rewards, recruiting and training, and people development. Williams has 30 years operations and shared services experience to sync shared services and technology with Surcheros' vision.
Surcheros launched its franchising program in 2017 which propelled expansion across Georgia and Florida. In April 2023 they celebrated two multi-unit agreements which have opened up more markets throughout the Southeast for guests seeking to bring Surcheros to their local communities.
