SAVANNAH, Ga. - GeorgiaChron -- (SAVANNAH, GA) Connect Savannah Events will host The Extra Mile 5K, 10K, and Fun Run on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at 11 Gateway Blvd S, Savannah, GA 31419.

This vibrant event is more than just a run; it's a day of celebration, community, and connection, honoring individuals with Down syndrome and raising funds for the Lowcountry Down Syndrome Society (LDSS). Named for the "extra" chromosome that makes these individuals uniquely extraordinary, The Extra Mile invites everyone to join in supporting this vital cause.

Packet Pickup: Friday, March 21, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Howe2Run.
Race Start: 8 a.m.
Registration: Online registration closes Saturday, March 15, 2025.
Race day registration is available for $35 or $40.
Race Options: 5K and 10K

The Lowcountry Down Syndrome Society (LDSS) supports individuals with Down syndrome and their families through leadership, outreach, education, and advocacy.
