ATLANTA, July 22, 2024 ~ Usher's New Look (UNL), the nation's leading nonprofit organization focused on empowering underserved youth through education and excellence, is set to host its seventh annual Disruptivator Summit from July 24-26 at Oglethorpe University in Atlanta. This year's summit, titled "Living In Your Legacy," is expected to bring together over 500 students from across the country.

Founded by musical artist and philanthropist Usher Raymond IV in 1999, UNL has impacted the lives of more than 60,000 young people. Through its comprehensive program, students are given a "New Look" on life and are equipped with the necessary tools and resources to succeed. As a result, 100% of UNL participants graduate high school and 95% go on to college, with 61% being first-generation college students.

According to Careshia Moore, President and CEO of Usher's New Look, "Young people are a force of nature, and their dreams and goals power the future of our society." She believes that the Disruptivator Summit plays a crucial role in providing youth with critical tools and access to help them reach their full potential and make a positive impact in their communities.

The 2024 UNL Disruptivator Summit will offer a platform for students from diverse backgrounds to address issues affecting them through innovative approaches and solutions. The event will also feature career excursions, mental health and wellness sessions, networking opportunities, and a Met Gala-style Disruptivator Ball. Additionally, UNL will announce its 2024 Disruptivator of the Year Awardees during the summit.
