ATLANTA, Nov. 5, 2024 ~ Atlanta, GA - The Boost Legacy Impact Foundation (BLIF) is set to host the first-ever Valor Ventures Summit at Atlanta City Hall on Friday, November 8, 2024. This event will celebrate veterans as trailblazers in business and technology, recognizing their significant contributions to the nation's economic landscape.

With Veterans Day approaching, the summit aims to move beyond traditional observances and highlight the essential role that veterans play in shaping the business world. The free event will feature a live pitch competition, an awards ceremony, and an inspiring keynote address by Vernice "FlyGirl" Armour, the first African American female combat pilot.

According to Dr. Cortney Harris, Executive Director of Boost Legacy Impact Foundation, "Veterans bring unmatched leadership, resilience, and ingenuity to business. The event will take place at Atlanta City Hall Atrium located at 55 Trinity Ave SW. Doors will open at 8:00 AM with the program starting at 9:00 AM and concluding at 2:00 PM. Admission is free for the public.

One of the highlights of the summit will be a live pitch competition where veteran entrepreneurs will showcase their business ideas. The top innovator will be awarded a $5,000 prize.

Attendees can also look forward to an inspiring keynote address by Vernice "FlyGirl" Armour. As an iconic combat pilot and veteran advocate, Armour's journey and insights on leadership are sure to inspire all those in attendance.
